A Better World for All

It’s incredibly important to me that I live my life out loud. That means transparency into who I am, but also what I care about. Marrying my personal and professional self was a key part of my journey, and I am proud to be using my skills to help realize the world I want to live in.

Public Works Assembly. Creatives for Harris (more on that below) returned in 2025 as the Public Works Assembly. A group of creative professionals assembling together to help the helpers, the people already protecting our communities in times of incredible duress and strain.

We know that there are already people out there doing incredible work at organizing, helping, contributing, protecting, feeding, etc., and we have no intention of trying to usurp or replicate their work. What we aim to do is bring them the creative services their organizations might not normally be able to afford, from graphic design to website development to creative storytelling.

Creatives for Harris. In the summer of 2024, in the wake of President Joe Biden’s exit from the Presidential Race and inspired by the work of Win With Black Women, Britton Taylor and I co-founded Creatives for Harris. Our group, of 1,200+ creative professionals, volunteered our time and skills to support the myriad affinity groups popping up to support the Harris-Walz tickets, and also embarked on creative projects of our own.

While the election did not result in the outcome we were all hoping for, the spirit and heart of these creative professionals coming together to live their values out loud remains one of the most inspiring projects of my career.
